Where are you located? Where do I park?

The studio is located at ARTISANworks, a one of kind art gallery and museum. When you enter Suite L, you'll walk into the Pole and Aerial Arts studios. The physical address is 565 Blossom Road, Rochester NY 14610. You'll want to park across the street in the free lot... you'll see the large yellow benches and life size elephant statues.

Do you offer refunds or transfers?

The studio will give a full refund if you notify us that you are unable to attend prior to the start of a session. We do not transfer any classes or credit to other sessions or services. Please do not ask for an exception.

Do you have make-up class opportunities?

Due to small class sizes, there may be an opportunity for you to attend another class, however it is not guaranteed. Please contact the studio and we can help assist you with options. The studio will not transfer credits or issue refunds for any missed classes.

What should I wear?

T-Shirt and Yoga Pants are best suited for girls. Sweat/Workout pants are best suited for guys.
You are welcome to wear stretch pants and/or a leotard. You will also need to be bare foot.

Is there a Weight Limit?

No, our specialty fabric can hold up to 1,000 lbs.

Do I need to make a reservation to Drop In?

Nope, but please arrive five minutes prior to the start of class to take care of payment. Thanks.

Who can participate in the Aerial Arts?

Ages 4 through Adult. Both genders are welcome!

Do you have to already be strong?

Classes at Aerial Arts of Rochester are formatted to help you gain upper body and core strength quickly. At the beginner level we focus on the fundamentals of the exercise itself and use technique to help us more than stregth. As you develop muscle memory and trust, you'll be surprise at how much you're able to do and how much you've accomplished!

It is highly recommended that you consult with a medical professional to seek their recommendation. The Aerial Arts can be a demanding exercise. If you have existing or reoccurring medical condition, it is important that you notify your instructor. If you are pregnant, we have other fun class suggestions that would be a great alternative.

Do you have gift certificates?

Why yes, we do! They can be purchased in any dollar amount at the studio or online.

Requirements for Participation

All students must sign an accident waiver and release of liability form.

All students must remove all jewlery such as rings, watches and braclets. This includes wedding bands. These items can cause injuries and might tear the specialty fabrics. Any damage caused to the fabrics can cause injury to yourself and others. We want to keep our equipment nice for years to come.
